How do you describe you family photography style?
My family photography is a blend of timeless portraiture and authentic storytelling. I gently guide you into natural, flattering poses while allowing genuine moments to unfold organically. The result is a gallery filled with both beautiful portraits and heartfelt candid images that reflect the love and connection unique to your family.
I believe your family photographs should preserve more than just how you looked—they should capture how this season of life felt. Years from now, I want you to look back and remember the laughter, the embraces, the tiny details, and the love that made your family uniquely yours.
How long do you recommend an extended family session be?
I recommend a two hour session for extended families. This gives us plenty of time to let everyone settle in, explore the location, and capture a beautiful variety of images without feeling rushed.
Little ones often need a few minutes to warm up, and some of the most genuine moments happen once everyone relaxes. A full session allows us to create a wonderful mix of timeless portraits and candid moments while giving children the freedom to simply be themselves.
WHERE DO YOU USUALLY SHOOT FAMILY SESSIONS?
I photograph families in some of Northern California's most beautiful outdoor locations, from rolling vineyards and golden fields to mountain forests, lakeshores, and quiet beaches. Together, we'll choose a location that best reflects your family's personality and the vision you have for your session.
If you love a more personal touch, I also offer in-home lifestyle sessions that beautifully capture your family in the place where your memories are made every day.
Do you provide props?
My approach to family photography is simple and timeless, so I don't use many props. Instead, I focus on genuine connection and natural interaction.
For younger children, I'll occasionally bring a beautiful quilt, a simple basket, or seasonal touches if they complement the setting. If you have something meaningful you'd like to incorporate—such as a blanket, heirloom, or favorite book—I'd love to include it.
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
You'll receive a small preview gallery within 48 hours of your session so you can relive those special moments right away.
Your full hand-edited gallery is typically delivered within 2–4 weeks, depending on the season. Every image is carefully edited with attention to detail to ensure your gallery is timeless, cohesive, and ready to be enjoyed for generations.
Do you have a package including albums or prints?
Absolutely. I love creating custom collections that go beyond digital images. Whether you'd like heirloom albums, fine art prints, framed artwork, or a combination of all three, I'll work with you to design a package that fits your family's needs and preserves your memories beautifully for years to come.
